Season Begins

Quad at Hamilton on Wednesday, December 2
Wrestlers need to be at school to set up at 4:15 pm
Wrestling begins at 5:30 pm
JV will be on a separate mat, Varsity will open against Plainwell
Wrestlers will be asked to stay to roll up mats following the meet. (30 Minutes)

Drivers Needed

Scrimmage at Allegan on Saturday,November 28th
We will need to leave at 8:15 am from the high school and return after the scrimmage at 11:00 am. Please respond by how many wrestlers you can transport.

Parent Night 11-19-09 *Time Çhange

Parent Night is scheduled for Thursday evening, November 19th at 6 pm in the High School Library. The time change has been made to accommodate the Nation Honor Society induction ceremonies on that night at 7 pm. All wrestlers need to attend as well as a Parent. Nutritional information will be presented. The meeting will last about 1 hour.

Welcher 5th at Boarder Wars Nationals

Congrats to Brandt Welcher for placing 5th at the boarder wars nationals at 119 pounds this past weekend. Check out Michigan Grappler for more details.

40th Season of Hamilton Wrestling

First Practice will be November 16

• Physical form must be on file (if you were in a fall sport you are OK)
• Pay $20 insurance fee to the office
• Bring workout clothes (no cut off sleeves), wrestling shoes, and running shoes
• Practice will be from 3 - 5:30 pm, pick up at 5:45 pm to allow time to shower and change

Open mats

We will be having open mats at Andy Cook's barn next week. Andy Lives at 3840 34th St in Hamilton (map). We will have two times: 100 lbs and less 6 -7 pm and 100 + pounds 7 - 8 pm. The dates art 7/28, 7/30, 8/3, 8/6, 8/10, 8/13, 8,17, 8/20, 8/24, 8/27. We will be drilling what we learned at Jordan and have time for live wrestling.

Jordan Camp

Wrestlers will be leaving from the high school at 10:30 am on Sunday, July 12. Any questions do not hesitate to call coach Stoel. Reminder that I will need $20 for gas on Sunday when we leave.
