End of Season Information

Monday, March 2 Bowling and Pizza!
Meet at Zeeland Lanes by 3:15 pm Monday for bowling. We will go to Pizza Hut in Zeeland after bowling. Coach Stoel will collect $11 from each of you at Zeeland Lanes.

Individual Regionals At Hamilton
Eight wrestlers will continue to pursue their quest to qualify for the Individual State championships. We will be wrestling at Hamilton Saturday starting at 9:30 am. Come support these young men. Wrestlers have been asked to help out on Saturday, a schedule has been provided.

Turn in Uniforms
Wrestlers need to return their warm ups, singlet, and headgear to Coach Stoel. Simply put your stuff in a paper bag, write your name on it, and bring it to Coach Stoel's room.

Little Hawks Wrestling
Beginning March 10th the Little Hawks wrestling practices begin. Wrestlers are asked to help at least one night. Practice are on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6 to 8 pm. We conclude with a tournament on Monday, March 30. Wrestler who help can earn $25 each time toward a registration fee to a summer wrestling camp we will be organizing this summer.

Wrestlers headed to Camp Jordan this Summer
Any wrestler interested in going to a team camp this summer should see Mr. Stoel to sign up. We will need to get at least 10 wrestlers to be involved in the team camp. More information will follow. Jordan Link.

Awards Night
An Awards Night will be organized after the State meet in two weeks. I am looking for some volunteers to help pick a night and to help organize this event.

Help needed Friday to set up for Individual Regionals. Hamilton is hosting a girls basketball game on Friday night and we need to set up for Saturday after the game. The varstiy game will end about 8:30 pm and we should be able to set up in about an hour.

Weigh in will begin at 8:00 am and wrestling at 9:30 am. Parents will make breakfast for the wrestler after weigh in.
JV wrestlers you will receive a work schedule this week.

Bus leaves the high school at 4:00 pm
Weigh in is at 5:00 pm, Wrestling begins at 6:00pm vs Unity Christian. The second match will be against the winners between Hopkins and Zeeland West. District Team Assignments.

Originally Hamilton was scheduled to host the Individual District on February 21, but due to a schedule conflict, the district will be at Allendale High School. Hamilton will host the Individual Regional on February 28th.

2/11/09 @ Plainwell Quad

Bus for Plainwell will leave the school at 4:00 pm. Wrestling will begin at 5:30 pm for JV on two mats. Varsity will begin at 6:00 pm vs Battle Creek Pennfield. A second dual will be wrestled against either Plainwell or Otsego.

Varsity and JV parents: We need table workers for the Conference tournament on Friday Night and Saturday. It would work well if some Varsity parents could work Friday night and JV parents on Saturday.
