Quad Home Wednesday, December 1

Wrestlers are to be to school by 4:30 pm to set up the gym, We need everyone's help.. Wrestlers may stay after school and do homework in room 301.
Varsity will be wrestling Hudsonville first round starting at 5:30 pm. Second round will be against either Stevensville Lakeshore or Plainwell. JV will be on a separate mat and will wrestle two times.
Wrestlers are asked to stay to roll up mats after the meet is completed, should take about 20 minutes.

Team Pictures

Team pictures will be taken after practice tomorrow Tuesday, November 23rd. Picture forms will be coming home today and need to be returned to school tomorrow. Pictures will be taken at about 5:15 pm so we may be a little late getting out tomorrow.

Parent Meeting Thursday, November 18th

A parent meeting will be held in the library at the High School on Thursday, November 18th at 7:00 pm. The meeting will give information about the upcoming season and nutrition information for both parents and wrestlers. All are expected to attend. The meeting should be about 1 hour.

Hawkeyes named Academic All State

Congratulations to the 2009-2010 for being named an Academic All State Team. The team had an average Grade Point of 3.34. Only the GPA's of the top 14 wrestlers with at least 4 varsity dates in which they wrestled varsity could be counted. This is the second year in a row the wrestling team has achieved this honor. Little Hawks Program - HELP Needed!

Wrestlers are asked to help tonight (Monday, March 29) at the Little Hawks tournament. We need 14-16 wrestlers to work tables and officiate the matches. They can come to help set up at about 5 pm and we will be done around 8 pm. Ice cream will be provided at the end.

Great Season Hamilton Wrestlers

• All wrestlers should attend the regional wrestling meet on Saturday here at the High School. Start time is 9:00 am. Good Luck to Brandt, Michael, Courtney and Dylan.

• Monday, Feb. 22 the team will be going bowling and to Pizza Hut in Zeeland. We will arrange rides here at school and be back around 5:30 pm. Each wrestler will be asked for $10 for 2 games and pizza. We may reschedule if weather is bad on Monday.

• Wrestlers will need to turn in their uniforms: ASAP

• Put singlet, warm up and head gear in a paper bag with your name written on it and bring it to Mr. Stoel's room as soon as you can.

• Awards night is scheduled for Monday, March 8th at 7 pm. Each family will be asked to bring a dessert to share. Awards will be presented in the cafeteria at the high school. Coffee and punch will be provided.

The team district will be held tonight if possible. Make sure you all plan to make your weight for tonight. Those that will be close need to come in as early as possible between 1-3 pm. Those that must travel farther can come closer to 3 pm and plan to stay at school to set up for the meet. All wrestler must report by 4pm to set up for the meet.

Wrestlers will need to report at 4 pm to set up for the meet. Weigh in is at 5 pm in the wrestling room. Wrestling begins at 6 pm:

**In case of a snow day the scale will be available to check weight at 1 pm. Those that are going to be close need to check early so that they have time to make weight. The meet will still be held on Wednesday night if possible.

Varsity and JV wrestlers will compete at Allendale. JV is scheduled to start at 9:15 am and Varsity at 9:45 am. Both JV and Varsity will wrestle throughout the day. We should be finished about 7-8 pm.
